Those with a finger on the fashion pulse will be delighted to hear that Emilia Wickstead is now offering bridal dresses within her bespoke range.
Brides have the opportunity to choose one of her gorgeous styles, and then have it made for them in the fabric and length of their choice, as well as altering details to personalise it to their tastes.
"The process starts with a consultation," Wickstead explained to BRIDESMAGAZINE.CO.UK. "The bride tries on what we have, explains their likes and dislikes, and then we make a mood board with drawings and photos that will help me to understand what they want."
After that Wickstead draws the piece from scratch, makes a toile (a calico sample), and then the bride comes in for around five fittings, ensuring the dress is perfect in time for the big day.
"The bride must be a part of the process," Wickstead told us. "People really enjoy the whole experience, which is why I like to work with the brides myself."
Prices start at £1,500 for bridal dresses and £180 for ready-to-wear styles, some of which would make ideal bridesmaid dresses.
