I've just heard that the super-cool Design Museum (designmuseum.org) in Shad Thames has been granted a marriage licence. The contemporary design venue has a couple of rooms, depending on the size of your bash. For a knockout view of the city skyline, the Design Museum Space is perfect, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and large balcony. It can take up to 100 guests. If you're having a bigger do, the Riverside Hall has room for up to 500 guests. Book before December 2009 and you can save up to 20 per cent (depending on the size of your wedding).
