I've just returned from a long weekend in the city of luuurve (aka Paris).
And, let's face it, what's not to love about the most romantic city on earth? I've lost count of the number of times I've been, but every time I go, I'm seduced all over again by the architecture, the art galleries, the bistros, the fabulous food and wine.

During the latest jaunt, my boyfriend and I fell into a nice pattern of late starts and lazy brunches, proceeded by long walks through the city's districts, from the artsy Montmartre to the gloriously quirky Marais and the très chic Saint Germain des Pres. We strolled along the beautiful Canal Saint-Martin, trod the banks of the Seine, and pit-stopped for coffee in cute cafes along the way. With so many stunning buildings and monuments, gleaming gold statues and pretty cobbled backstreets, we decided to ditch the itinerary in favour of wandering around to see what gems we'd stumble upon.
