Hen partying in London after work and looking for somewhere to get glammed up beforehand (office toilets don't really cut it)? We've just had a fabulous makeover at Butterfly, an exquisite new hair and make-up boutique in the city, two minutes from Bank Tube station. With mini-facials, manicures, hair and make-up treatments on the menu, it's the perfect place for some post-work, pre-hen-party primping and pampering.

Butterfly's hen night packages are from £65 per person (for groups of six to eight people), for which their team of make-up artists, hairstylists and manicurists will transform you and your girls ready for your big night out.
There are look-books to peruse and pages of hair and make-up styles to get you inspired. Once you're suitably preened, slip out of your work gear and into your evening ensemble in the cute dressing room. There'll be canapés to nibble on and non-alcoholic drinks to sip but you can always take along a bottle of bubbly to really get the party started. Don't forget to pick up your handbag essentials on the way out of the salon, from Party Feet to flat shoes, knickers, jewellery and umbrellas ­they've thought of everything!

Butterfly has just launched a menu of wedding services, so you can now book the team to do your big-day transformation too. An in-salon trial will enable you to test different styles and help you decide on a final look, and on the wedding day, the girls will come kitted out to recreate the look. A two-hour trial is £65; wedding day hair and make-up is £265. Other services include pre-wedding skincare, nail care, brow shapes and tints.
