Stressing about your table plan? Worried about who to put where and getting anxious about juggling all the names and numbers? Then grab a glass of wine and check out Toptableplanner (www.toptableplanner.com).
As the name suggests, the website is designed to help you get bums on seats with minimum fuss. All you need to do is import your guest list from Word or Excel (you can also manually type guests' names into your plan), select what table types and sizes you want (such as square, round, one-sided; eight, 10 or 12 guests, etc), then drag and drop each guest onto a seat. You can take it one step further by highlighting meal choices and RSVPs. Once you're done, choose a font, then print the plan; there's also a facility to print place names and escort cards if you need them.
Sign up to Toptableplanner for £10 and you'll get six months' access to your table plan; a year's use costs £15. Before you do though, take advantage of the free trial where you can check out all the features and test it out before you take the plunge.
