Love Louboutins? Know your Manolos from your Choos? Then you can't go wrong with a bit of footwear-inspired musical theatre for your hen bash. Shoes, a celebration of, you guessed it, shoes, is coming to London's Peacock Theatre from February 8 to April 3 2011. It features a cast of 12 dancers and singers, plus more than 250 fancy pairs, by designers as diverse as Terry de Havilland, LK Bennett and Oliver Sweeney. Expect plenty of toe-tapping entertainment: the show is the work of writer Richard Thomas (co-creator of Jerry Springer: The Opera) and choreographer Stephen Mear (the man behind the fancy footwork in Mary Poppins The Musical). Listen out for 'Old Shoes', a song about an unlucky pair of wedding shoes passed down through generations of a family. Tickets from £15 to £49.50.
