Lovely Leiths in London is running a Cake Pops class on Friday September 16, and I reckon it's the perfect activity to kick off a long-weekend hen bash. Hosting the class will be Juliet Sear of Fancy Nancy (who designs exquisite wedding cakes) and Christine Lee of Boo Lee Scrumptious (famed for her bespoke creations), who will show you how to make these super-tasty cakes, from dipping them to ribboning and wrapping them for a gorgeous finish. (If you find you have a knack for it, why not enlist your girlfriends to help you make a big batch as favours for your big day? They look fab and it could save you cash.) The one-day Cake Pops course (10am-4pm) is £150 per person. Find out more at www.leiths.com; or call 020 8749 6400.
