Planning your wedding can be a hectic and stressful time. Brides to be can rest easy knowing that London's luxury bridal event, The Designer Wedding Show, will have everything they need to get their planning off to a stress-free start.

If you are looking for your wedding dress you are in luck; Browns Brides has chosen the bridal event to showcase Vera Wang's much anticipated fall collection. Think delicate, youthful and beautifully crafted gowns. The fashion show will be styled by Brides very own Fashion Editor, Bryony Toogood.

The fashion show will include the designs of Matthew Williamson, Naomi Neoh, Sassi Holford, Stephanie Allin, Lisa Redman, Emma Hunt, Sarah Janks, Louise Selby, Ritva Westenius, Bruce Oldfield, The Couture Gallery and Temperley London.

Aside from the hundreds of companies on show, guests will also have the chance to ask the panel of 'On the Sofa' experts all their wedding-related questions. On hand to answer the queries will be Bryony and a number of other special guests, including Paul Herrington, Bobbi Brown's Head of Artistry UK and celebrity hairdresser Michael Van Clarke.

Among the subjects Bryony will be covering whilst she is on the magazine-style boutique chat show will be looks for bridesmaids, including American designer Monique Lhuillier's feminine yet alluring Bridesmaids collection appearing for the very first time here in the UK. 

Whether for the bride, the mother of the bride, the groom, the bridesmaids, the venue or the flowers, being On the Sofa is the perfect source of expertise and inspiration.

The food and cafes will be catered by Mosimann's - fresh from Kate Middleton and Prince William's wedding. And those with a sweet tooth can also see celebrity cake-maker Peggy Porschen, whose client list includes Kate Moss and Jamie Hince.

Other exhibitors include the millinery from Edwina Ibbotson and Janie Lawson; flowers from Amanda Austin and Mary Jane Vaughan; shoes from Benjamin Adams, Freya Rose and Harriet Wilde; stationery from Chartula Studio, I Am Nat, Smythson and more. Over 140 companies will be exhibiting at the show- including designers, photographers, caterers, marquees and venues.

The Designer Wedding Show will take place in Battersea Park between 7-9 October 2011.  Show opens from 10am - 5pm daily; tickets are £16 in advance or £18 on the door with all fashion shows included in the ticket price.
