This weekend saw a beautiful array of dresses and the most influential names of the wedding industry come together for The Luxury Wedding Show London.

Our Shopping Editor, Astrid Joss, was on hand to style the catwalk shows which showcased the most exclusive and coveted designers including Vivienne Westwood, Marchesa, Monique Lhuillier and Temperley London.

"I loved working with all the different designers in terms of translating their vision creatively on to the catwalk," she said. "All designers involved were very varied in style so you got an extremely wide selection of styles and looks. From my point of view I really felt there was a very high level of creativity in these designs - offering very new and very unique styles I'd not seen before."

"The dress that stole the show for me was the Mira Zwillinger Aline appliquéd rose dress with beautiful leaf embroidered cups on the bust (pictured). It was like something from another world in a beautiful taupe. I could hear the sighs at the model glided down the catwalk... an absolute dream."

Planning the bridal event, Event Director Alejandra Campos said: "We are thrilled that the launch of The Luxury Wedding Show London has been such a resounding success, from the beautiful displays by top-notch wedding experts to the stunningly styled catwalk. Top designers including Vivienne Westwood, David Fielden, Temperley, Mira Zwillinger, Charlotte Casadejus, Amanda Wakeley, Luella's Boudoir, The State of Grace and the collective of Browns Bride gave visitors a real feel for their stunning collections. The contemporary location at Saatchi Gallery leant itself perfectly to the exclusive boutique feel of the event and was beautifully embellished by By Appointment Only Design, Philippa Craddock and McQueens."
