Olympic cyclist and bride-to-be Victoria Pendleton put 16 blushing brides through a 'Bridal Bootcamp' in the city.
As part of 'The Bahamas 16 Islands Wedding Invitation' Promotion, the Olympic champion put 16 lucky ladies through a true workout.
"Every girl dreams of the perfect wedding and we we all want to feel our best on the day. I'm lucky that my job means I have to be fit and healthy so I'm delighted to be able to pass on some fitness and weight loss tips in my pre-wedding work-out," explained Victoria.
"It was great fun putting the girls through their paces at my bridal bootcamp and I hope they've picked up some tips on how to shape-up for the big day. I'm getting married after the Games so it was good for me to get some pre-wedding advice from them as well!"
The 16 brides-to-be won a place at Victoria's Bridal Boot Camp after they were among the first to answer the Bahamas 16 Islands Wedding Invitation in a bid to win one of 16 free weddings.
The competition will see six couples win a luxury wedding on one of the main 16 Islands of The Bahamas. Each couple will be allowed to take two guests with them for their big day. The winning couples will all marry at the same time - on May 16, 2012, at 16:00 hours on 16 different islands.
People voting for their favourite couple can also win a 7-night holiday to The Bahamas. For more information please visit www.bahamas16weddings.co.uk.
