The bridal world is a-twitter over the risqué wedding outfit
that made its way down the Kaviar Gauche runway during Berlin
Fashion Week yesterday.
This wedding 'get up' consists mostly of a veil, and not much
else. The head-to-toe amorphous veil covers a provocative g-string
and bra, joined together by a small piece of fabric.
Created by Alexandra Fischer-Röhler and Johanna Kühl, the
Berlin-based fashion designers are becoming rather well known for
their catwalk stunts. (When they launched their handbag collection
a few years ago they sent naked models down the runway with
strategically placed accessories.)
Along with their otherwise beautiful bridal collection, they
included this risqué ensemble that has caused quite a furore.
While we all want to comment on that er, outfit - we would like to
point out another more demure dress that might capture your
imagination (in the right way, mind you).
Closing the show, this dress, with its ruffled skirt and modern
corset, is perfect for a city wedding and a chic bride.
