What a show! Opening the glamorous Pronovias show was none other than Victoria's Secret Angel (and presumably Manuel Mota's bridal muse) Karolina Kurkova. Each of the three wedding gowns she modelled were as beautiful as the last; starting off with a fashion-forward short-suit of sorts, followed by a heavily embellished and traditional gown and ending in a modern Ellie Saab floral frock.
The collection was a mix of superwoman meets fallen angel - with heroic capes featuring heavily throughout, and a romanticism of glitzy glamour and traditional bridal silhouettes that only Pronovias can so fully capture.

Despite the late start to the show, Hannibal Laguna's collection was certainly worth the wait; capturing the elegance and glamour of his designs of old.
The Venezuelan designer's ultra-light gowns are perfect for summer weddings, using asymmetric shoulder details for added wow-factor. But best of all perhaps are the floral details, reminiscent or orchids and magnolias.

Jordi Dalmau's latest collection is bright, bold and very colourful indeed. The designer's playful designs are made in multifaceted layers, where a bride can have three different dresses all in one… And not one to shy away from colour, his collection featured purple, red and green frocks.
Taking inspiration from the 40s and 50s, Franc Sarabia's 2013 collection, is demure and elegant. The sharp silhouettes look more like second layers of skin, and the variety of necklines, including a Kate Middleton-inspired gown, make this a very accessible collection for all brides-to-be.
Truly making a statement with her exquisite fabrics and a sophisticated 50's feel, Patricia Avendano's brides are as beautiful as can be.
But most captivating of all these shows, we fell in love for the undoubtedly and unashamedly feminine frocks from Portuguese designers Joana Montez and Patricia de Melo. Their flowing gowns are beyond romantic, with fluid silhouettes and a variety of capped, three-quarter and short sleeves. Beautiful!

Romance reaches brand new heights at Raimon Bundo. From the carefully crafted production of the catwalk, with its projected impressionists paintings from the 19th Century, to the beautiful gowns and make-up.
Split into two halves, the first part of the collection drew upon Monet for inspiration. The French painters watercolours were brought to life with natural flowers as hairpieces and romantic pastel make-up.
The second half of the collection was slightly more spontaneous, mixing different textures, materials and lengths. Less classic in it's shapes and designs, we still think it a truly romantic compilation.

YolanCris are known for re-inventing the traditional bride season after season. The latest collection of the YolanCris sisters takes on a whole new aesthetic from what we've seen before: taking a more youthful, fun and rock-inspired look than before.
This being their seventh collection, we loved their romantic vintage brides, no doubt inspired by the Gatsby trend, with glamorous headpieces, slinky gowns and elegant beading. Although that wasn't all... their quirkier designs included divine peter pan collars and beyond beautiful crystal beading from Mademoiselle Vintage.
For the more daring brides - the latest Inmaculada Garcia collection is certainly a sight to behold. This being the second year the young designer has shown at Barcelona, her designs have yet again caused quite a stir with their aquatic and rock inspiration... We'll let you be the judge on these gowns...

Prepare to fall in love as we have with the designs of Jesus Peiro and the romantic Victorio & Lucchino.
Indulging in floral fantasies of the most romantic levels, the Victorio & Lucchino collection was made for starry-eyed dreamy brides. The frothy skirts and delicate floral detailing evoking a true sense of a by-gone era, emulating nature's beauty, freshness and innocence.
Taking a more modern - but equally romantic - stance, Merche Segarra's designs for Jesus Peiro included very avant-garde brides. Donned in lace, golden appliqués and elegant feathered details we particularly love the glittery feel and shimmering sophistication of the gowns.

Opening today's bridal shows was Spanish power house Rosa Clara. Causing quite a stir with the bridal catwalk debut of androgynous model Andrej Pejic - we think the collection couldn't be any prettier or feminine if it tried! The floating fabrics and pastel shades featured as prominent trends - we're in love!
