Showing her newest collection in the privacy and comfort of her Knightsbridge boutique, Caroline Castigliano's 2013 collection took our breath away.
The luxury bridal designer is well known for her signature silhouette and fitted dresses which are both feminine and effortlessly elegant. And although her new collection features those sexy numbers (including a champagne coloured gown which is truly red carpet-worthy), it is also packed full of dreamy dresses.
We saw big skirts in the New York, Barcelona and London bridal shows, so it seems only right that such an internationally acclaimed designer follow suit. But the beauty of Caroline's big skirts is their lightness, their effortless movement and the natural sense of style.
Achieved with a lot of fabric and clever layering, Caroline explained, these dresses are what so many brides-to-be are looking for: "Even when they come in and say that they don't want a big skirt, once they try these on and see how soft the skirt is and how beautifully if flows with them, they just fall in love."
Lace also featured prominently in the romantic collection, including two extraordinarily beautiful lace tops which can transform even the sexiest of gowns into a cathedral-worthy dress.
We hear there is will be an exclusive event for brides-to-be who wish to preorder from the new collection soon too, so keep an eye out for more news on that!
