The overflowing support for Jennifer Aniston's proposal has been palpable since it was first announced on Monday. But now, the juicy details of how Justin popped the question have finally been revealed!
It is said they were out enjoying a meal to celebrate his 41st birthday at the Blue Hill restaurant in New York's Greenwich Village when Justin proposed with an eight-carat, emerald-cut ring.
The actress is said to be 'overyjoyed' and truly love her ring, although she has yet to be seen wearing it in public.
Justin seems to have done everything right, even charming his future in-laws and getting Jennifer's dad, the American soap star John Aniston's seal of approval.

The Friends actress and her beau are finally engaged, after Justin proposed during his 41st birthday celebrations last week.

Justin's spokesperson confirmed: 'Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage."
Justin and Jennifer have been dating for over a year, having first been seen as a couple back in May 2011. The couple moved into a shared house in LA earlier this year.
Justin was rumoured to have proposed at least once before, while they enjoyed a European holiday in June.
Their relationship has been heavily scrutinized by the media; Jennifer's love life being closely followed through her Vince Vaughn, Paul Sculfor and John Mayer-relationships. Justin's life too was put under a microscope and alarm bells raised when he allegedly left his girlfriend of 14 years to be with the Friends star.
