Meet our most romantic groom champion this month: Phil.

DOES YOUR GROOM HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN?

His romantic proposal to his girlfriend Rachael received the most votes during January's competition, earning him the title of Mr February 2013!

Phil proposed on Christmas Day, which coincided with Rachel's 26th birthday: "Having recently taken up cycling I was expecting a new road bike for Christmas, even more so when the boy jumped out of bed first thing Christmas morning 'to go and sort my birthday present out,' instructing me to stay in bed!" says Rachael.  On his return he presented me with a brown envelope; inside a beautiful brown card with a personalised poem printed on it stating to celebrate my special day he wanted to take me on a picture trail, comprising of photos of us and the reason why they were significant to him."

An 'engagement trail' ribbon led Rachael from the bedroom down their newly decorated staircase with 26 brown cards hanging from it - on each card a photograph and a poem on the back expressing Phil's reason for picking each moment.

"Once I had made my way to the bottom of the staircase a final brown envelope; the last poem summarising our relationship, it finished with: 'we have travelled the world, seen some amazing things and had lots of success, so when you see your next present I hope you let out a great big YES.' In came my future groom, got down on one knee, ring in hand and asked me to marry him!"

They are now busy planning their wedding for August this year.
