  • Realizing that there will be at least 1 not so interested bridesmaid on every group. I thought I had picked my best friends who would be as excited as me about every detail but its just not the case. Nobody will share the bridesmaid excitement except the groom and sometimes not even him.

  • I am late for everything....my fiancé knew this.....however on my wedding day in the hurry to get ready I was somehow rushed into the wedding car on route to the church. 1 minute from the church it dawned on me I was actually half an hour early - how could this be?! To cut a long story short the driver drove us to the local village pub for a stiff vodka! The driver delivered the drinks on a silver tray. The locals found this quite amusing! I will cherish that moment forever as the morning getting ready had been so hectic it gave me a chance to share a special moment with my dad who told me how beautiful I looked We even have a photo from a mobile phone that captured the moment. The drink definitely calmed my nerves!

  • The Funniest thing that ever happened to me at a wedding. Well! I went to my aunties wedding and it was really early in the morning! i had my brother driving me mum and my sister and mum was screaming "no its this way" as my brother would say "no im sure its this way". We were going round and round in circles. We eventually found it and walked in late!. THE loudest church door in the world, all of these heads just turned, talk about your spotlight moment!. Anyway we finally got seated and clearly sat in the wrong place as 2 minutes later a QUIRE band stood up behind us and sang at the top of there voices, higher than ever!. Talk about your early morning wake up! #EmbarraSING.
