Karl Lagerfeld can do no wrong - and we can't help but fall in love with each and every garment he makes. His latest spectacular took us to Singapore for a decidedly pared-back affair, with a host of aisle-worthy gowns…
The pre-spring/summer 2014 collection was unveiled inside a disused former nutmeg plantation - all concrete floors, whitewashed walls and electric lighting - to give the air of "tropics before air-conditioning".
Taking a step back from the colours he featured in his Edinburgh show, the Chanel designer limited himself to a very bridal offering of white, off-white and ivory - adding in the classic black and navy blue for monochrome magic.
Speaking to Vogue.com, Karl said: "I tried to capture the mood from what she did in her early days, plus the mood from what's going on here and what inspires fashion here. But there is nothing folkloric, retro or vintage about it - I hope."
We've chosen our favourite bridal pieces here - from the classic two-pieces to pearl-tastic dresses. Which is your favourite?
