Congratulations to Vampire Diaries Candice Accola and The Fray guitarist Joe King who said 'I do' this weekend in New Orleans.
The pair tied the knot at the Montegut House before the bride and groom were joined by their guests to second line parade, a century-old tradition where well-wishers follow a brass band through the streets. The bride twirled a delicate parasol - the perfect accessory for her elegant lace Monique Lhuillier gown.
Candice, who announced her engagement via Intagram, shared a picture of the couple kissing in a suitably dramatic pose - in the middle of a buzzing street in the French Quarter- with the caption, 'Officially Mr. and Mrs. King! Best night ever!' It certainly looked like the celebrations were well underway!
The groom also seemed suitably excited in the build up to the big day, posting a snap on Instagram of his fancy Tom Ford get-up in its garment bag with the caption 'On my way.'
Joe also shared a picture from the evening of the couple sharing a romantic dance in front of guests under the canopy of a tree and twinkling chandeliers. He added, 'My wife, she makes me wanna dance.' Doesn't the bride look stunning with her tousled mane and glistening headpiece? We love her change of style from dramatic up-do with a veil to the more relaxed evening look; an ideal way to transition into a night of revelries!
Many of Candice's fellow actors, past and present, came to celebrate with the couple. Apt as it was thanks to Candice's co-star Nina Dobrev that the pair went on their first date. After meeting at a Super Bowl event in February 2011, Nina took charge. "I was too chicken to give him my number, so Nina did," Candice told PEOPLE last year. One bit of matchmaking that has certainly paid off! SH

Congratulations to Vampire Diaries Candice Accola and The Fray guitarist Joe King who have announced their engagement via Instagram.
The actress shared a picture of herself and her fiancé accompanied by the caption: 'Cheers from the future Mr & Mrs. Joseph Aaron King.'
Rock band guitarist King followed up his fiancée's announcement with an even cuter photo, showing the two of them laughing, which he accompanied with 'I'm a lucky man.'
Taking centre stage in both images is her lovely engagement ring: a large round diamond.
The twittersphere quickly reacted with a series of exstatis tweets from Vampire Diaries co-stars of Accola's. SR
