There really is no limit to the kind of wedding day you can create for yourself - and it all begins with your choice of venue. Do you want to do it in a beach hut in Bournemouth under a driftwood arch? Or maybe you crave the full princess fantasy at London's Kensington Palace?

What are your bridal dreams made of… the flood-lit romance of an old ruin, sipping champagne up a lighthouse, or recreating the glamour of a bygone era at Highclere Castle, pictured, the estate made famous by Downton Abbey?

Whatever you choose will no doubt be a reflection of the kind of couple you are, and I feel pretty confident that we have covered all the possibilities in this year's guide.

I personally love the idea of some of you might be joined at your wedding breakfast by a giraffe or zebra (see Anyhoe Park).

Anything goes, just make sure you have fun choosing it!
