Long have we said we would love to see Zac Posen enter the white zone officially - and now our white hot dream is coming true!
The American designer is preparing to launch his debut bridal collection exclusively with David's Bridal - the US retailer due to launch in London's Westfield Stratford City later this year.
The line, Truly Zac Posen, will feature budget-friendly wedding dresses and formal attire, so your entire wedding party could be decked out in Posen's glamorous wares.
"We brainstormed for several months because we had a very successful launch with Vera [Wang]. As always, we were looking for what's next," Catalina Maddoz, executive vice president of merchandising at David's Bridal, told WWD. "We were talking about dramatic red-carpet movie-star kind of looks, and Zac came to mind." The chain already stocks Wang's more affordable White by Vera Wang collection.
The first drop of Truly Zac Posen will include six ivory bridal gowns - with prices ranging from $850 (£540), to $1,350 (£860) - and five limited-edition "social occasion" pieces, priced between $195 (£124), and $225 (£143).
The range will debut in selected stores and online at davidsbridal.com in February 2014, with additional styles expected later in the year.
Posen has only ever previously made one-off wedding dresses for close friends, including model Coco Rocha, pictured her in his finale gown at his ready-to-wear spring/summer 2013 show in New York.
