Meet our most romantic groom champion this month: Iain.

DOES YOUR GROOM HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN?

His romantic proposal to Harriet, his girlfriend of three years, received the most votes during our August competition, earning him the title of Mr September 2013!

The couple first met at their university's barbershop chorus and came together through the power of music.

"Every year they [the chorus] host a quartet show," explains Harriet, "any group can show off a couple of songs they've been learning and really show them off or practice for a competition. Ahead of one of those events I came home to get changed before the show to find him practicing with his quartet. He very subtly suggested I went ahead to the venue, so off I went and watched the show. He eventually turned up a while after the rest of his quartet and we watched some of the choirs together."

Iain's quartet closed the first half, first with a Christian song and leading into the second song, dedicated to Harriet.

"He brought his quartet down to the back of the hall and sang Annie's song to me before getting down on one knee and presenting me with a beautiful ring!"

They are now busy planning their wedding but have yet to set a date.
