Alice Temperley's talents seem to know no bounds.
If you can name it, she's almost certainly done it. Wedding dresses? Check. Lingerie? Done. Children's clothing? Yes. Dressed a certain Duchess? Oh, yes. Tea towels, totes, scarves - she's even decorated bottles of gin, for goodness' sake! It is safe to say, Alice can do it all.
And now she's adding a new string to her bow which brides-to-be are bound to love: a bridal candle.
Grace, as the candle is named, is due to launch on Monday 20. The romantic new edition to the Temperley London scented candle collection is fresh and summery yet seductive and deeply sentimental.
"The Grace bridal candle evokes romance and nostalgia," explains the multi-talented designer, "using my two favourite scents: rose and jasmine."
Top notes of rose and blackcurrant mix with jasmine and iris for a fruity, vibrant scent, all luxuriously tied up with a twist of vetiver and sandalwood.
The clear glass and gold detailing that encase it all make it perfectly suited for the big day, too. You can burn it whilst you are getting ready or use it to scent your ceremony or reception - a trend made popular by the Duchess of Cambridge.
It also makes a delightful gift for your maids, or a favour for your guests. But above all, it is the kind of scent that will take you right back to the big day long after the dancing is finished, the flowers are gone and the pictures have faded.
The Grace candle, £25, will be available in the Colville Mews Bridal Salon, Burton Street Flagship store and online at www.TemperleyLondon.com from 20 February 2014
