The morning after the Brides 60th Anniversary Ball, there was only one question whispered around the office: was that all a bonkers, beautiful dream?
It most certainly wasn't, according to these pictures, which capture just some of the moments from a magical night of dancing, cocktails, fireworks, a river of roses… and a band called Fake Tan, who got everyone air-grabbing to Bon Jovi until 2am. They played for the Beckhams at their private Christmas party, and now we know why!
This is how we party, Brides-style, and it was all to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the very magazine you're holding in your soon-to-be-married hands. It was sheer decadence; an evening of hedonism and opulence from start to finish with 140 special guests from the bridal industry dressed as glam-as-you-can.
Our highlights? The lavish and luxurious flowers from By Appointment Only Design and Jo Malone candles that filled the room with a heady orange blossom scent; the silver-painted contortionists weaving through the crowd while we sipped flutes of Grey Goose Le Fizz vodka cocktails; the insanely talented live jazz band, The London Essentials, who serenaded each of the tables between courses, and the grand Goodwood House that hosted this unforgettable night of bridal party madness.
Here's to another 60 years of being utterly, unashamedly fabulous, and making you feel as special as we did in these pictures.
The May/June 2015 issue of Brides is on sale now!
