It's time to thank your lucky stars as Dior have created a brand new fine jewellery range based on the very idea.
Perfect as delicate wedding-day jewellery or gifts to those people who made your big day special; these are pieces to treasure forever.
The idea for the collection, called 'Rose des Vents', meaning wind rose, stemmed from Dior's childhood house of the same name and his passion for flowers; a motif that is often present in his designs.
Also seen in the design is a star, which resonates with the star shaped object that Dior found on the streets of Paris, prompting him to open his couture house in 1946. Think of these pieces as your very own lucky charm, passed down from Dior himself.
The co-designer, Victorie de Castellane, explains of the collection: "Rose des Vents is also metaphor for creation. It is about finding ones cardinal point and setting off on a journey." We can't think of a message more apt ourselves for all you brides-to-be.
The jewellery comes in a variety of precious materials, from yellow gold and mother-of-pearl to rose gold with pink opal, though why not opt for turquoise and wear it as your 'something blue'?
Rose des Vents launches on Monday, 25th May 2015. Prices start from £1,100 and will be available at www.dior.com; 0207 172 0172.
