Girls star Lena Dunham told her boyfriend to "get on
it" and pop the question after the US Supreme Court ruled in favour
of same-sex marriage last week.

The HBO star and writer previously vowed to hold off getting
engaged to her beau, musician Jack Antonoff, until gay marriage was
legalized in the US.

Lena tweeted over two million followers on Friday saying

She continued; "Woke up to learn that love is free! Thank you to
all those who fought so hard to make this historic moment happen.
Weddings are about to get a lot less boring. Let's use this victory
as a reminder to keep pushing for equality on every frontier. We
have the power!"
