This week marks not only the opening of Lucy Choi's first stand-alone boutique in a swanky central London address (congrats, Lucy!) but it also sees the release of the designer's first-ever bridal collection.
The boutique will feature a dedicated bridal area for brides-to-be, maids and mothers. And the niece of design legend Jimmy Choo certainly knows how to create every bride's dream shoe. In classic Lucy Choi style, the collection features easy-to-dance-in heels in pretty metallics, bow detailing, glittery T-bars and party-ready peep-toes.
For the perfect flash under your bridal hemline, Brides loves Ophelia in gold - with its decadent glitter-dipped toe.
So what led Lucy to release the bridal collection? Her customers, of course! After receiving photographs of customer's wearing Lucy Choi shoes on their wedding day, the designer was inspired to create a dedicated bridal range. One that featured all the drama and style a bride wants but with the added benefit of comfort (hello, mid heel) and quality.
Price was also in the front of Lucy's mind. "A bride often has to spend a lot of money to find the perfect wedding dress - so I wanted to offer the perfect shoes, but at an affordable price. Nothing makes me happier than knowing I have a part to play in making a bride's day special."
