The THEIA showroom in New York was decked out with a foil-effect silver catwalk, where models sporting statement metallic eyes, lips and cheeks, and sequined white caps with long ponytails, debuted the label's futuristic 2017 bridal collection.

Brides Editor Jade Beer was sat front row. She says: 'Futuristic fabrics and shapes were shot through with metallic thread and covered in strategically scattered crystals in a collection that owed its inspiration to a galaxy far, far away.'

It wasn't just about the gowns however. A halo of galactic flowers orbited around a white, strapless column gown, while a pair of plastic wings were wrapped around a streamlined silhouette - providing a modern alternative to the classic train.
