YolanCris' spring summer 2017 bridal collection had a 70s vibe, opening with a giant glitter ball as the backdrop and Burn Baby Burn on the soundtrack.
The first bride to walk down the catwalk wore a trouser suit with an oversized feather jacket and sunglasses that perfectly encapsulated the 'Studio 54' feel.
The designer sisters were also inspired by 70s boho and there were lots of feathers and ruffles that really pushed boundaries and offered something a little different. Chantilly lace and silk guipure blend showed off the craftsmanship of these dresses, many of which contained artisanal needlework done by hand.
The finale contained a sensitive tribute to the late singer Prince. Purple Rain played while the whole room was lit up in purple as a magnificent peach tulle gown closed the show. A fantastic end to a great show.
