Rio 2016's golden girl Helen Glover swapped her oars for a gorgeous white lace gown at the weekend as she wed wildlife documentary presenter and fiance of two years, Steve Backshall.
After saying 'I do' in the rower's home county of Cornwall, the pair climbed atop a rock, looking out over the English Channel for what is sure to be the most stunning wedding photos.
Due to Glover's Olympic commitments, the countdown to the wedding was a short and sweet affair only lasting three weeks which the gold medallist said she found 'really exciting.'
According to the MailOnline, 200 guests were served sweet treats at Glover's father's ice cream shop after watching the two marry and then went on to marquee reception adorned with fairy lights to dance the night away. Guests in attendance included Backshall's fellow Strictly Come Dancing cast members Thom Evans and Judy Murray.
Guests and well-wishers took to Twitter to congratulate the happy couple and friend Naomi Wilkinson posted a picture which featured the bride and groom as LEGO characters where the bride was depicted to be in a rowing boat - obviously.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
