I've been the retail editor at Brides Magazine for three years now, and during that time I have been to countless fashion shows, press launches, breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas, all so that I can get the very latest news, tips and trends from the bridal world for you, the reader. I have jetted across oceans, interrogated celebrity stylists, sat in laboratories learning about the latest advancements in science and - more importantly - how it can benefit your skin, I have stalked across award-winning gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show in search of the very best florists and I have been backstage at both the Designer and the National Wedding Shows - not to mention all the others - to speak to the hair and makeup artists to find out how to apply the very latest and most beautiful bridal looks. It is my great pleasure to divulge all my secrets and hard-earned knowledge to you in each issue, however I couldn't resist adding a more behind-the-scenes perspective in this blog.
