I've got a question regarding Catholic marriage ceremonies. Myself and fiance are Catholic, I'm British and he's Colombian - both our families want us to have a Catholic ceremony in our own respective country, but we know this isn't possible! Could we have a Catholic wedding in one country and a wedding blessing in another? Or is the only viable option to have a civil wedding in one country and a convalidation in another?

I'm confused as to what the male members of the wedding party wear. My groom thinks that only the buttonholes tie the wedding party in with one another, but I thought that really they should be in the same/similar suits etc. What is the norm?

We have seen a venue we love but we are limited on dates as we are still at University. It has availability on Sunday 30th of June (we ideally wanted a Saturday) but it would mean waiting until the following year! Do you think if we went with a Sunday the guests would still stay to party late and book Monday off work? Major dilemas!
