I married Simon Peter Green on Saturday 6th August in an English Eccentrics themed wedding. It began with an intimate gathering of family & friends on Friday evening, where we dinned privately in the hotels Garden view room. Saturday saw me don my customised La Sposa gown & vintage jewelled belt, with a crystal headpiece & jewel edged veil. The men wore grey William Hunt suits. The ceremony was attended by 100 family & friends, followed by champagne, canapés & an oyster & Serrano ham bar on the lawn enjoyed whilst our guests swayed to a New Orleans jazz band. We ate in the hotels beautiful marquee, the theme reflected in the eclectic vintage tea cups and antique pocket watches used for the place settings. A light breeze blew through the marquee & carried the beautiful sent of rosemary, old English roses & peonies used within the floral arrangements. The most important part of the day to me and my husband was that everyone who attended be made to feel ‘one of the family’.
