Tucked away in a corner of a beautiful Moroccan-inspired restaurant in San Rafael, Ibiza, Paul's proposal was completely unexpected! Having hidden the ring since our arrival on the island, he chose the perfect moment to pop the question and we decided instantly that we would return to the island to get married. Our wedding day was filled with happiness and plenty of tears. Little did I know that Paul had been busy planning the surprise arrival of my Aunty and Uncle who, as far as I knew, couldn't make the wedding. As I spotted them on our way out of the church and was completely overwhelmed with emotion. We decided to recapture our engagement through a Moroccan-inspired reception, so after heading back to the villa, guests were treated to a Moroccan menu, hashish pipes and plenty of Moroccan lanterns! Our modern twist on the theme worked well against the stark white exterior of the villa and come nightfall, we were all dancing around under the stars to old house tunes. Perfect!
