Guy and I met on the set of a television comedy in 2007. On the first day of the shoot I walked head first into a jib arm during a take and then choked on my noodles over lunch. Fortunately, Guy saw the charming side of it and five years later, almost to the day, we were married at St Bartholomew the Great, West Smithfield, London. We had the most beautiful and romantic ceremony, which we followed with Champagne in the West Smithfield City Gardens (a park with an incredible past) before heading over to Le Café Du Marché, Charterhouse Street (the best French restaurant in London) for a three course meal, dancing and lots of wine before heading to the cocktail bar next door at midnight to carry on the party until the early hours. Our incredible photographer Philippa James (www.philippajamesphotography.com) captured the day perfectly. She's an exceptionally talented photographer and an absolute delight to have around on such a special day.
