Our Sunny Autumn Wedding

Dan knows the way to my heart. He proposed in a gorgeous B&B in the Lake District, complete with M&S sandwiches, wrapped engagement presents and a congratulations card signed by Barbie! I went to a bridal outlet store in York with my parents and sister. I tried 1o dresses on, and knew the last one was ‘the one’ when I came out of the changing room to cooing ladies, and my dad said, “That’s the dress; that’s the only one I’ll buy you.” We wanted to get married on 13th October, as it marked our 6 year anniversary. We decided on Chester, as it’s a gorgeous city and the Doubletree mixes chic modern hotel with an old, rustic barn. I love pink, but didn’t want to go over the top for the wedding so opted for muted vintage pinks and purples. But on the day, Dan surprised me with a gorgeous, girly pink ice cream cart.
