English Country Garden

Karena Clode, Office and Retail Manager, married Charles Spicer, Chartered Surveyor at St James Church in Birlingham. The reception was held in a marquee at Karena’s Grandparents home in Worcestershire. Karena says: “The church was near my Grandparents house that we had been to many times growing up. We both wanted a traditional wedding service but were keen to avoid ‘going through the motions’. The theme for the marquee was English country garden party. We wanted a miniature tea party to start with followed by a big meal and lots of dancing. I love the fact that the dance floor was busy from the minute they started playing to my grandpa putting a stop to it at 1:30 in the morning. My top tip: Go with your heart, relax and get good people around you. The most important thing at the end of the day is you are marrying the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.” Pictures by Catherine Mead Photography; http://photographybycatherine.co.uk/
