"Can this water really give me younger-looking skin in just a few weeks?" Who knows, but I'm game!
I'm in the middle of a product trial but rather than testing a moisturiser or eye serum, it's bottled water. I have no idea what it's called, where it's from, what's inside or how much it costs. The only information I have is that it's completely natural, ordinary spring water except it has a mineral unlike any other bottled water that will apparently make my skin look youthful and delay ageing. And it's available right now to buy in shops (although not in this green bottle pictured). It's such a mystery - probably why I agreed to trial it - and I'm really excited to see if such a simple product can have an impact on the quality of one's skin. For a start, it's a lot cheaper than buying anti-ageing creams, it's healthy, easy and accessible, plus drinking water has plenty of other benefits to the body too, from more efficient digestion to reducing water retention.
So far, every week a big box arrives with enough bottles to provide me with 1.5 litres a day. I have some at home and in the office, and since I don't drink tea, coffee, soft drinks or juice it's actually pretty easy for me to get through my daily quota (and more sometimes!). The only thing that makes me sceptical is that I've always drunk tons of water throughout the day, so perhaps this may have more of a visual impact on someone who doesn't drink enough. Anyway, we shall see, so I'll be back at the end of my trial to reveal the brand and update you with my results.
