Who doesn't love Keira Knightley? The newly engaged star shone on yet another red carpet earlier this week when she wore a gorgeous Velentino gown and Chanel hairband for the LA premier of Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, setting our bridal heart a-beating...
We ask bridal and celebrity make-up artist Helen Kalli for her step by step guide and recommended products to achieve Keira's flawless look:
"Prepping your skin correctly is the ultimate move in making your skin red carpet [or aisle] ready!" explains Helen. "The week prior to any event I always ensure my clients have a facial or use an exfoliator and mask at home."
For best results and glowing skin, make sure you use cleanser (Helen recommends Eve Lom Cleanser), toner (Caudalie Beauty Elizir) and moisturiser (try Rodial's Glamtox day SPF 15) on a daily basis.
"Keira's foundation is flawless and matte, so I recommend using the Veil Fluid Foundation from Hourglass," explains Helen. "Apply Secret Concealer under the eyes and only where needed, and set your make up with a light translucent powder to give your look real staying power." Try Laura Merciers loose setting powder.
For the eyes, apply Stila's Trio Eyeshadow compact in Goddess, taking the lightest shade and applying over the whole lid with a large brush, and moving to the peachy shade next to create that dreamy effect by moving from the centre of the lid and moving outwards.
"I would Jemma Kidd's Pro Pointed Shadow Brush to sweep the colour softly," says Helen.
Use the same brush and colour under the lower lashes lightly. Finally, apply the darker shade of the trio to the outer corners of the eye and lash line to give depth and slight definition.
"Take a flat liner brush and apply Bobbi Brown's Black eye gel liner to the lash line as close to the lashes as possible. Complete with lashings of mascara, I adore Dior Show in Black."
Brows are the focal point in this look, so create a dramatic brow using Laura Merciers Brow pencil. Use small feathery strokes to create the shape of the brow, building it up with heavier strokes at the arch.
For that blushing look, add a soft Nars Mata Hari on the apple of cheeks, using translucent powder to soften edges.
Keeps lips a natural, almost nude tone with Jemma Kidds lipgloss £14 in Shell.
But Helen's top tip for blushing brides? "Always set your make up with a translucent powder, this is the only way to keep your make up from sliding away. And carry a few cotton buds in your purse on the big day to spot check any bits of make up around the eyes that need a tidy."
