Brides-to-be want to look amazing on their big day, what are you top tips for achieving the perfect body?

There is absolutely no point in aiming for perfection! My absolute best piece of advice is to learn and accept your shape first and then really work with what you have got. I find that running works for all shapes. Not only will it kick start weight loss,being one of the best ways to burn calories, but it also gets the blood pumping round your entire body so you'll find your skin will get brighter and it's a great way to blow off any wedding stress steam!

Don't be afraid to lift weights too, despite what you might think it won't bulk you out, especially if you keep the weights low and repetitions high. It is a sure fire way to sculpt your arms as well as fire up your metabolism.

How far in advance before the wedding should a bride-to-be start her fitness/detox regime?

This will be totally different for different brides. Having said that, you'll definitely see results with a good ten-week programme. Although, you will have to be committed to exercising at least three times a week.

Should you take a holistic approach when it comes to exercising - how important is your diet?

Diet is so super important when it comes to exercise. You have to make sure you fuel yourself in the proper way or a.) you are not going to be able to exercise effectively and b.) if you carry on eating junk it will be an uphill struggle for you to see the gym paying off, whichwill completely demotivate you! Don't do any fad diets though, just eat healthily and mindfully and try not to eat three hours before bedtime.

EAT YOUR WAY TO GLOWING SKIN

Are there any 'super' foods that can help achieve gorgeous glowing skin?

Yes absolutely. Avocados, walnuts, almonds, apples and wild berries are all packed full of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids. They are also balanced in terms of nutrients and are easy to get hold of - so no excuses not to add them to your diet really!

What would you recommend for a bride who is happy with their weight but wants to tone her body?

I would advise them to do yoga or Pilates. If you opt out of doing the hot classes you don't tend to burn that many calories and yet still manage to come away much more toned.

Are there any exercises you can do at home that can help the dreaded 'bingo wings'?

Yes, one of my favourite celeb tips comes from Liz Hurley, who once said that she did arm press-ups on the side of the bath whilst she was waiting for it to get full. I think this is a brilliant way to kill some time and if it's good enough for Liz...

What are your thoughts on five day cleanse programmes and juice fasts?

I have seen fabulous benefits from some (glowing skin, weight loss, reduced bloating), whilst others have been terrible (one encounter with a juice cleanse had me tired, miserable and spotty). There are some really good ones out there but it is worth doing your research. I like doing them with smaller companies like SoupaJuice or Plenish Cleanse who really take the time to check in, see how you are and answer any questions. And book in a couple of complimentary therapies like massages to get the absolute most out of it.

THE LOOK GOOD DIET

What would you advise a bride to eat on the day of her wedding?

You need to choose foods that will help to stabilize blood sugar levels as this is what will sustain your energy without making you bloated. Something like rye bread with almond butter would be great for breakfast and a fruit smoothie that contains lots of lovely berries, a banana and some almond milk. I am getting married in a couple of months, and I have enlisted my sister to carry around some great healthy protein based snacks with her incase I start to feel peckish!
