On an impossibly pretty hillside, this lovingly restored 19th-century finca is a boutique hotel with the feel of a family home. This is rural architecture Ibizan-style - juniper wood ceilings, whitewashed walls, large terraces.
There are 11 rooms and suites (the most private stands alone in the gardens) and the vibe is exclusive but relaxed - U2's Adam Clayton was due to arrive as we left.
Olive and orange groves surround the house and pool (the olive oil
and much of the Mediterranean produce on the menu is home-grown).
There's a tiny spa and an outdoor gym, and bikes are available if
you want to explore. Ibiza Old Town is just a 15-minute drive
Wow factor: The soothing fragrance of the gardens.
Flight time: Two hours 20 minutes.
Go: Doubles from £150 B&B (casgasi.com). Easyjet (0871 244 2366; easyjet.com) flies from £65.98 return. For information about Ibiza, visit ibiza.travel/en/.
