Here's what to expect at a Pagan wedding ceremony.

These wedding ceremonies are also known as handfastings. The couple swear on an oath to love honour and respect one another in front of their gods and goddesses. The priest/priestess is the officiant of the ceremony.

The ceremony is typically held outdoors and on a sacred area. During this time the attendees honour the four elements. The couple will be tied together and declare their love for one another. After the exchanging of the rings, they leap over broomsticks to signify the change of their old life to their new, shared life.

Typically after most Pagan ceremonies, attendees celebrate and feast together.
