Serves 1 | Cooking time: 10 minutes | Skill: Simple


50g oats

1/2tsp ground cinnamon

100ml rice milk

25ml hot water

2-4 dates

75g blackberries

3 tbsp water

Optional: 1 tbsp of chia seeds


Mix together the oats, cinnamon, rice milk, hot water in a  bowl.  Chop the dates and add to the oat mixture. Leave for at least 3 hours, ideally overnight.

Simmer blackberries with cold water in a pan for 2-3 minutes. Mix half of the mixture through the oats and drizzle the rest on top. Garnish with some fresh blackberries and chia seeds when ready to eat.
