Going all out for wedding DIY? If making your own ring is a handmade step too far, but you fancy the idea of creating a piece of jewellery for your big day, you could always attempt something less ambitious such as a tiara or earrings. A jewellery-making hen party class is a great way to add a touch of girly fun to your bling-bling handiwork.
London Jewellery School (www.londonjewelleryschool.co.uk), based in Hatton Garden, runs three hen classes. Take your pick from A Silver Send Off, where you'll get the chance to make two pieces of silver jewellery; Beautiful Beading, in which you'll produce a pair of earrings, a bracelet and, if there's time, a necklace from beads; and Make A Tiara.
The three-hour classes are £40 per head for a minimum of six people and they'll throw in a bottle of bubbly too.
