The pressure is on when tasked with organising a best friends hen do - the idea must be unique, something fun and creative but doesn't cost the earth.

Myself and fellow 'maids were recently in charge of organising a hen weekend and were given strict instructions: It must be tasteful, elegant and based somewhere in the countryside.

Whilst settling on a cottage hideaway in Hertfordshire, we really wanted to include a little naughty shock and surprise factor for our bride-to-be.

We discovered Butlers in the Buff who came highly recommended. Serving champagne and canapés to the hens, wearing nothing but an apron and bowtie, I can honestly say they were cheeky, seriously good fun and of course a little risqué.

Plus, Butlers in the Buff have recently launched a one-stop shop hen party kit for all the giggles and fun needed for your soiree. Included within the kits are heaps of games and all the typical hen paraphernalia including sash and L plates. Priced at £24.99 (per group of six) this is a sure fire way to get the party started.
