I've just signed up to new group-buying website, Keynoir (www.keynoir.com). Billing itself as a 'members-only buying club', it takes advantage of the surge in social networking to offer discounts on top-notch lifestyle experiences such as fine dining, chic hotels and spa days. Here's how it works: each day, a new lifestyle experience (known as a Keypass) lands in your inbox; there are a limited number available and there's a limited time frame in which to buy.

The lifestyle equivalent of bulk buying, a minimum number of members must sign up to an experience before it becomes available - so if you really want something, you'll need to spread the word. As an example, today's Keypass is an aromatherapy massage at your home or the office. The price is £55 (usually £75) and they need to sell 100 before you get to book your treatment.

I reckon this could be a great way to organise a hen party without busting the budget. Membership is free, but you'll need to be approved. Right now, it's only available in London, but will roll out to other cities in the coming months. Apply at www.keynoir.com.
