Destination weddings, although perfect in principle - glorious sunshine, a beautiful setting and a wedding and honeymoon in one - can often cause problems when it comes to getting guests to the venue of choice. Whether it be elderly relatives who are unable to travel or friends who can't take the time off, absentees at the big day can cause disappointment all round. But with the wonders of modern technology, loved ones don't necessarily have to be at the wedding to partake in the experience. The heavenly Elbow Beach Hotel in Bermuda, part of the Mandarin Oriental Group, is now offering a live video streaming service for wedding parties. A high-speed network has been set up in all of the resort's function spaces, including the stunning Alamanda and Caprice gardens and its pink-sand beach, allowing absent family and friends to watch the happy union from the comfort of their own home computer. The new streaming service will cost £161 per hour for the first hour and £64 for each additional hour thereafter, which includes all set-up and service fees for the event. Find out more at
