Save-The-Date Cards
Photograph by Nato Welton, styling by Polly Atkinson

Create inexpensive save-the-date labels with a rubber stamp and brightly coloured luggage tags. Using contrasting ink, stamp your names on one side of the tags and your wedding date on the reverse. Loop and tie satin ribbon through the card to complete the look.

Luggage tags, £1.35 for 10, Paperchase. Ribbon, 50p per metre, VV Rouleaux. Stamp set, £38; ink pad, £12, Cox & Cox.

As seen in the July/August 2009 issue of Brides.

  • Really like the save the date idea. Ive had a look on the given websites for the stationary, however cannot locate the stamp on cox and cox. Is the one in the picture just for reference or do cox & cox sell it?

  • Hi, Thanks for your comment! This particular stamp set is no longer available, but there are 2 very similar alphabet stamp sets on the Cox and Cox website, which would work equally well and look very stylish. http://www.coxandcox.co.uk/categories/stamps Hope that helps, The Brides team
