These boats are perfect for a nautical or seaside theme, we can almost smell the salt in the air! Use them as place cards for your wedding guests at the reception table, or as part of a centrepiece for table numbers.

It's important to choose good quality paper or thin card to really look the part. Here's our quick step-by-step:

Cut out the template of your design for a sail, a flag, and a hull - using a template will keep the display uniform. Cut out the pieces and fold each around a toothpick or skewer, and glue together. Stick the completed boats into roughly knotted light rope or a piece of cork.Using a scalpel, cut away the corners of the cork so they are more rounded. Cut out a section in the middle of the cork so that it looks like a waterway.
