You don't get more fairytale than this - a turreted fantasy marooned on two islands in the River Len, which forms the castle's huge moat.
What better way to arrive at this princess palace than by horse and carriage? Once there, you have the choice of three stately spaces in which to wed. So will you pick the regal castle dining room, the 17th-century timber-framed barn of Fairfax Hall or the castle's self-contained party pad, The Maiden's Tower?

This is a recently restored and newly licensed space at the popular wedding venue Leeds Castle, which is set on an island and overlooks 500 acres of parkland. A self-contained 16th-century Tudor bakehouse, the Maiden's Tower was until recently a private residence. In its heyday it hosted parties for Hollywood glitterati such as Charlie Chaplin and Noël Coward. You're guaranteed to feel like a star as you sweep through the flagstone entrance hall and say 'I do' in one of the grand reception rooms before dancing the night away.
