Just look at those turrets! Belvoir Castle cuts an impressive figure, looking down regally from its hilltop setting - all romantic rampart walls and castellated towers. The Castle is still home to the Duke and Duchess of Rutland and their family, who are more than accommodating in making it feel like your own for the day. They'll let you use the Rutland Family Chapel in the grounds for the ceremony, and even lend you the Duke's sword to cut your wedding cake.

Ceremony capacity: 120; Packages per person: £99

Belvoir means 'beautiful view' in French and you certainly get that at this magical turreted castle - still the home of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland.

Say 'I do' in the high-ceilinged Guardroom or, for a religious ceremony, opt for the stately family chapel. Follow in fine banqueting tradition with your wedding breakfast in the State Dining Room and continue the party 'below stairs' in the Old Kitchen.

Ceremony capacity: 130; Food cost per head: £97; House wine: £17; Corkage: £15; Countryside setting
